Harold Wood 3rd Team, or as they are now known, 'A' Team compete in The Mid Essex League.
Previously a feeder side to the 1st and 2nd teams, the team are now a successful outfit in their own right. The side have climbed the Divisions since the turn of the century and have enjoyed success with numerous League Titles and Cup Finals - must it not be forgot that many of the clubs best players over the years have started and have plied their trade in the team also.

The 2014/15 season is the second in charge for the managerial partnership Of Gary Willis and Mark Hammond,they are hoping to build on last season which for many of their young squad was their first in senior football.
A good end of season saw Wood 'A' finished a creditable 6th in 2014/15.
In 2015/16 due to a league reshuffle it look's like Wood 'A' will be in The Mid Essex Premier Division, a step up but a challenge all the Squad will be looking forward to.
The 2017/18 season see's Jamie Fox took over the reins and was asssisted by Barry Fox & Sam Walker.
So for the 2019/20 season the Wood 'A' team are managed by Wood Veteran Steve Hubbard along side Steve Downes ,and the team are still playing in the Mid Essex League Premier Division,

Unfortunately the 2019/20 season, was cut short due to Covid 19 pandemic and was Null & Void

The dynamic duo will continue in charge for the 2020/21 season with the team competing in the Mid Essex League Division 1.

We would like to welcome our new 'A' team managers Dave Fuller & Billy Everingham, who last season were in charge of the Manford Way Development team,
Dave also formerly of Manford Way U21's & assistant at Barking EJA.
They first met through Billy setting up Bardag FC over 16 years ago! With Billy starting the team and Dave eventually taking over.
At the end of their first seasonwith us both Billy & Dave stood down.
