Harold Wood 1st Team compete in the Essex Olympian League.
Wood were managed by ex-player Lee Hammond, who won many honour's with the 1st team, previously he had managed the reserve team and achieved great success with them also during the early 2000's.
Lee stood down Oct 13 and was succeeded by his assistant at the time ex-Redbridge manager Kris Taylor.
The 2014/15 season was Kris & Steve’s Gaunt first full season in charge and they actually won The Essex Olympian Premier Division Title after going on unbeaten league run of 16 game's and winning the title on the last day of the season.
In 2015/16 Wood finished 3rd.

Dave Evans has joined the Club to work alongside his old mates Tays & Gaunty for the 2016/17 season.

Dave Evans left during the 17/18 season which saw Wood finish 6th.

The Management team for the 2018/19 season will be... Kris Taylor, Steve Guant,Joe Moffatt & Jordan Tolan,

Joe Moffatt step down from the management team ahead of the 19/20 season to enable himself to return to playing this time with The Wood Vets

At the end of the 2019/20 Kris Taylor called time on his management reign with Steve Guant & Jordan Tolan also stepping down. Kris taking over as Club General Manager overseeing all things football related .

Taking over the reins ahead of the 20/21 season will be former Romford assistant manager Alex Goldstone along with ex Wood players Stuart Williams & Joe Benson.

For the new 21/22 season the Reserve Management team of Gary Willis,Dave Lowry & Lee Wettner have been promoted and will take over the Wood 1st team after Alex,Stuart & Joe decided to step down.

After Wood's relegation from the EOFL top fight,the long serving Gary Willis,Lee and Dave were relieved of their duties by the Club and with former Wood Manager John Field returning to the club to take charge for the 2022/23 season along with Rod Edwards & Jordan Manzo as his assistants.
