The Wood O45's beat Paringdon 45s 2-1 on Saturday (the only side that would have been able to overhaul Wood) to Clinch the Essex Veterans League O45 Division 1 (W) title in their last game of the season and in doing so achieve back to back titles along with winning last season's Divisional Cup in their first two seasons as a team,

Next season will be an even stiffer test for the 'boys' and their aging bodies as they step up to the O45 Premier Division next season.
